Process Strategy & Innovation
Overview
The Project, Strategy & Innovation team supports standardization and efficiency across the College of Letters & Science’s Finance, Human Resources, and Research Administration teams (collectively known as the Administrative Regional Teams (ARTs). We focus on the development, improvement, implementation, and documentation of college-wide processes to improve workflows and administrative responsiveness.
What We Do
- Provide cross-functional support by connecting people, resources, and information across all ARTs teams through a holistic and objective approach to projects.
- Meeting facilitation and documentation
- Advise functional leads and stakeholders on process adoption and change management
- Close collaboration with the Solutions, Development and Innovation (SDI) team to create and enhance technical solutions for administration
- Improve processes and tools through planning and coordination of the following:
- Feedback loops
- Stakeholder collaboration
- Gathering consensus to develop solutions for the ARTs
- Coordinate project-related communications for ARTs teams and stakeholders, such as:
- KnowledgeBases (KBs)
- Process maps
- Work instructions
- Support strategic initiatives through organization and project management
- Resource assessment and allocation
- Project prioritization
- Project charters
- Workgroup support
