Department Support
Overview
Information Technology Services (ITS) Department Support employs technology support consultants that facilitate the operation, maintenance, and support of a department’s information technology needs.
There are four Department Support Teams (DST) across L&S. Each team is led by an IT Manager who reports to Associate IT Director Tino Kaltsas.
Teams are geographically diverse, with consultants spread around the college. Due to the varied nature of areas each team supports, it is not uncommon to have two departments in the same building supported by different department support staff. Communication and collaboration between teams is common and highly encouraged. Support is situation-dependent and may be delivered either remotely or in-person.
Available to:
Faculty, researchers, staff, and students of L&S departments, centers, and units. IT services cover University-owned equipment. We also provide limited best-effort support for personal devices that are primarily used for instructional or research purposes. Please feel free to inquire if you have questions about what equipment is covered.
