Tino Kaltsas

Biography

Tino Kaltsas is an IT System Engineer III within the College of Letters & Science and leads the GNP IT team that serves the Department of Geography, the Department of Planning & Landscape Architecture, and the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies.

Prior to joining the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2023, Tino held several roles at the University of Iowa, most recently as Associate Director of Learning Spaces Technology. Prior experience also includes Videoconferencing Coordinator for the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, Evening and Late Night Supervisor for the Darrell W. Krueger Library at Winona State University, and the pre-press department at River Valley Newspaper Group.

Tino earned a BS in Information Technology and an MBA in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University.
