Making a Reservation
Classrooms are available from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday; our classrooms are not available on weekends. Exceptions can be made for evening reservations depending on the request.
We cannot guarantee the acceptance of reservation requests submitted less than 2 days from the date of the reservation.
Purpose and Prioritization
Courses, meetings, and events held in our classrooms must be hosted and organized by L&S faculty, staff or teaching assistants. Reservation requests that are held in support of the instructional mission of the College of Letters and Science will be prioritized.
Reservation requests for meetings or events unrelated to teaching and learning cannot be made more than three months in advance to ensure L&S course request needs and priorities can be coordinated and met.
Cancelling a Reservation
Due to the popularity of our classrooms, it is important that you communicate changes or cancellations to your reservation as soon as possible. Canceling reservations less than 24 hours in advance of the event date, or not showing up to a scheduled reservation will result in a deprioritization of a person’s request to schedule our classrooms in the future.
Meeting or Event Setup
Our staff will work with instructors and teaching assistants of courses to ensure furniture arrangement and technology needs are met. For all other scheduled events, the meeting organizer is responsible for the setup of furniture, signs, trash bins, catering, clean up, and reset of furniture arrangement.
